The exhibition ACTIVE PRESENCE is comprised of works that gain significance along this axis. On one side we find more theatrical works in which the pubic takes a passive role, and on the other works that involve the participation of the public. In between, we find different relations between the two, and the space an surroundings. Except for John Bock’s and La Ribot’s pieces, the rest will be site-specific works produced for this project.
Pello Irazu and Txomin Badiola are among the artists participating in the exhibition The persistence of geometry, a group exhibition showing works from the collections of contemporary art from the Fundación "la Caixa" and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona (MACBA). The exhibition, fuit of the collaboration agreement signed between both institutions, offers a tour of paths collections from the use of geometry has been done in sculpture and installation from the sixties until today.
