Indirect speech (Stories about impatience) is conceived as a collection of minuscule stories rooted in historical episodes, which move across different geographies of the present. As indirect speech stories, each narrative stakes history's reveries when the tensions of the present and its impatience point to the horizons of the future. Now, it is relevant to ask: can photography accomplish this task of political archeology? Can photography work with dialectical images that require an indirect style?

Adria Julia's beautifully filmed sequences are meditative, composed more through the grammar of phtography than film to create a startling document of time.
